Black History Month
Celebration of "Black History Month" in conjunction with the African-American History Roundtable. We host a 2-3 hour Sunday afternoon program during the month of February featuring a certain aspect of our African-American Gallery.
Fourth of July
Celebration of the 4th of July featuring some aspect of either the Veteran's Honor Gallery or the Andrew Johnson Gallery.
Civil War Heritage
Celebration of our Civil War Heritage in conjunction with the "Battle of Blue Springs" event held in October by the Town of Mosheim. During the week prior to the Saturday and Sunday event, we host "Living Histories," "Lectures," and "Story Telling" activities at the museum.
Growing Up In Greene
Annually in the month of December, we host the "Growing Up Greene" program, which targets all 3rd grade students in Greeneville and Greene County (between 800 and 1,000). We have guides in period dress discussing certain galleries in the museum. The program starts at 9:00 am and runs to 12:00 noon for an entire week.
Student Tours
We also schedule several tours in the spring and fall each year for student groups ranging from Kindergarten to College.
