Mission:
The mission of the Nathanael Greene Museum is to entertain and educate our visitors through collecting, preserving and presenting information and artifacts of historic relativity to Greene County and her neighbors, Cocke, Hamblen, Hawkins, Unicoi and Washington Counties as well as Madison County, North Carolina. With particular interest placed on Greene County.

Support
The Nathanael Greene Museum is a state chartered, non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and exhibiting a record of the life and heritage of Greeneville, Greene County and the surrounding area.
The Nathanael Greene Museum is supported by a variety of sources including:
- Kentish Guard - Our Volunteer Network named after the militia company that Nathanael Greene established at the beginning of the Revolution.
- Memberships - We have a strong membership that provides unfaltering support for the Nathanael Greene museum. Download Membership Form
- Donations - The Museum receives various types of donations from Memorial to General.
- Fundraisers - The Museum Board of Directors conduct two annual fundraisers, one in the fall and one in the spring.
- Grants - The Director is continually searching for and writing grants to help defray the costs for Museum improvement.
- Appropriations - The Museum receives annual appropriations from the Town of Greeneville and Greene County to help offset operational expenses.
